American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt she was Willa McPherson as reporter. She was also in the supporting role in the show that ran for a short time, The Ex List. She played Kaylee as a young Moira in the initial season of FX's American Horror Story. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of several characters from the comedy show Family Guy. Since 2019she has been appearing in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 when she and her mother moved to California. They went through a few different places before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting, and photography around the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother at age 15 to pursue an acting career.
